Norfolk Lavender

Founded in 1932, Norfolk Lavender is England’s premier lavender farm, renowned worldwide and has nearly 100 acres of lavender under cultivation.  There’s even more for all the family at Norfolk Lavender in 2010, with the opening of the Rare Breed Animal Centre and a wonderful Farm Shop. In the Plant Centre you will find masses of rare and unusual lavenders for sale, such as Lavender Hidcote, and an extensive selection of herbs, specialist plants and other treasures to take home for your own gardens. The Lavender Gift Shop is full of Norfolk Lavender products, made from the farm’s own lavender oil, and many other wonderful gifts for all occasions.

Hitchin Lavender has around 25 miles of lavender rows which you can walk through and pick your own fresh flowers from. As well as the fields of lavender they also grow sunflowers and have a wildflower area. The farm has some spectacular views of rural Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and there are many interesting walks surrounding it. Inside our 17th century barn they offer a range of lunches and home made cakes and you can also browse products and choose from the large variety of lavender plants on offer. Why not come and experience what the lavender can offer you!
