👣 Hiking Seals of Norfolk

This weekend we’re off to Norfolk! The seals in Norfolk are truly one of the county’s most special sights to see. Without any doubt, it is an incredible WOW factor and one that you must see!

On this day hike, we will walk along the top of the sand dunes with stunning panoramic views along many unspoilt and wonderfully quiet sandy Norfolk beaches. On our way, we will pass the much loved grey seal colony at Horsey beach, which draws thousands of visitors each year when the seals come ashore to breed. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of seals and their pups stretching for as far as the eye can see!

Pretty much the whole hike follows the coastline with wonderful views across the North Sea. The area is a veritable haven for birds and all kinds of wildlife and is widely regarded as having the best sand dunes in Norfolk. Our final point is the popular seaside resort town of Great Yarmouth with an action-packed beachside promenade, frequently referred to as the Golden Mile, with its delicious selection of cafés, shops and ice-cream vendors.
