The seals in Norfolk are truly one of the county’s most special sights to see. Without any doubt, it is an incredible WOW factor and one that you must see when in Norfolk. Whether you come to see them with their seal pups in the winter months or watch them basking in the sun in the summer months, this spectacle in Norfolk is an all year round activity to enjoy.
The Norfolk Broads are a series of rivers and broads (lakes), most of which are navigable. The square area of the Norfolk Broads totals 303km, most of this is in the County of Norfolk, and just over 200km of these waterways are navigable, covering seven rivers and 63 Broads. The depth of these waterways is usually less than 4m deep. Thirteen of the broads are completely navigable whilst three others have channels open to navigation running through them.
