🗻 Hiking Three Peaks in Three Days

Join us for the iconic Three Peaks Challenge in Three Days – a fantastic adventure and a great way to see the best mountain ranges that Britain has to offer!

On this trip we’re going to take a more leisurely approach to the National Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, which we successfully completed earlier this year and absolutely loved 😊! The Three Peaks Challenge in Three Days involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales over three days, one peak per day, whilst taking in the magnificent scenery these countries have to offer.

We travel to Wales on Saturday, starting with Snowdon (1,085 m), climb Ben Nevis (1,345 m) in Scotland on Sunday and finish with Scafell Pike (978 m) in England on Monday! This is an active event and people participating should have the necessary fitness to walk over five hours per climb. We aim to complete each of the mountains within 4-6 hours, however, this will depend upon the speed of the group. All routes are guided by an experienced hike leader and there is a minibus with a separate driver with you throughout the challenge.

Itinerary: 

Saturday: 07:45 meet near Hotel Novotel London West, 1 Shortlands, W6 8DR (5-minute walk from Hammersmith Station); 08:00 sharp departure; 14:00 arrive and start climbing Snowdon; 18:00 finish Snowdon and start driving to Ben Nevis; 21:00 accommodation this evening will be provided en route to Scotland;

Sunday: 06:00 departure; 08:00-08:30 breakfast; 13:00 arrive and start climbing Ben Nevis; 19:00 finish Ben Nevis and start driving to Scafell Pike; 21:00 accommodation will be provided for another relaxing evening;

Monday: 06:00 departure; 08:00-08:30 breakfast; 10:00 arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike; 15:00 finish Scafell Pike and complete the challenge, start our journey back to London; 21:00 London, Hammersmith.

Travel times may vary depending on traffic/weather conditions and the fitness level of the group.

Difficulty: 

Over three days, you will trek around 23 miles (37 km) and ascend to a total height of almost 3,000 meters. This is a serious and tough challenge which requires a good level of fitness, as well as plenty of grit and determination. Ultimately, however, your hard work will be rewarded with spectacular views and a huge sense of achievement 🏅!!!

Participation includes: 

  • transport throughout the trip
  • a dedicated IAM/RoSPA qualified driver, who won’t be walking, for the duration of the challenge
  • professional event organisation
  • guiding throughout the challenge by an experienced hike leader
  • group first aid kit with qualified first aiders
  • walkie­-talkies provided in places with bad reception
  • expert local knowledge and 24-hour emergency assistance during the trip
  • hiking expertise and experience since 2008
  • one of the options below for two nights’ accommodation:

Hostel: mixed dormitory room for up to 6 members of our group without breakfast

Shared: shared twin room in a hotel with breakfast included (you will share a room with somebody from our group of the same gender)

Private: private room in a hotel with breakfast included

The price does not include

  • food during the trip
  • personal insurance (for cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects, personal trekking insurance)

What to bring:

  • nuts and energy snacks to last you during the trip

Traveling in small groups creates a friendly atmosphere. We aim to have no more than 16 walkers per group leader.
